Six Armed Form

According to Sri Chaitanya’s authorized biographies, then, shad-bhuja-murti was revealed three times, in the following order:

1. To Nityananda Prabhu in Srivasa Thakura’s house in Mayapur. This occurred during the Vyasa-puja celebration (worship of Vyasadeva), the day after Mahaprabhu and Nityananda met for the first time. (See Chaitanya-bhagavata, Madhya 5.92; Sri Chaitanya-candrodaya, Act II, text 75; and Chaitanya-charitamrita, Adi 17.12.) Incidentally, according to both the Sri Chaitanya-candrodaya, Act II, text 77, and the Chaitanya-charitamrita reference cited above, Nityananda saw a different version of the six-armed form, with hands holding conch, disc, club, lotus, bow, and flute.

2. To Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya in his house in Puri, soon after the Lord first arrived there. (See Chaitanya-bhagavata, Antya 3.100–105, and Srila Prabhupada's purport to Chaitanya-charitamrita, Adi 10.130, as well as his Teachings of Lord Chaitanya, chapter 26.)

3. To Maharaja Prataparudra, two years after the Sarvabhauma revelation, when the Lord returned from His South Indian tour. (See Murari Gupta’s Sri-krishna-caitanya-carita-mahakavya 4.16.14–20 and Locana Dasa’s Chaitanya-mangala, Sesha-kanda, Song 12, Texts 113–115.)

Kama Vs Prema

In ‘SRI SRI CHAITANYA CHARITAMRITA’ Srila Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami had said,
“ Atmendriya Preeti Ichcha Tare Bole Kam. Krishnendriya Preeti Bancha Dhore Prem Nam.”
‘Atma Indriya’ =‘Self senses’ and ‘ Krishna Indriya’= ‘Senses of Krishna’. That means desire of fulfilmemt of one’s Self Senses is called ‘Kama’ or ‘Sex’ and Desire of giving Joy to Krishna’s Senses is called “Prema”.

Bilvamangala

One day, the gopis got hold of the book closesest to krishna. When they looked inside, they saw Bilvamangala’s beautiful glorification’s of Krsna and the Vrajadevis. “How does he know all these things?” they wondered in surprise. “Who is this person? Where are all these marvelous songs coming from?” They searched for Bilvamangala, and when they finally found him, they exclaimed, “But he is blind! He has no eyes!”

Krsna replied, Yes. He gave up his eyes for Me. He gave up his desire to look at ordinary and mundane things. Now, he only meets with Me and looks at Me with his eternal, spiritual eyes. because of this, My lila-sakti gave him entrance into Vrndavana. He is Lila-suka, and he is describing all of our wonderful pastimes. He is my karnamrta (nectar for the ears).”

The gopis then concluded, “Oh, then the name of this book must be Sri Krsna-karnamrta!”

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Himself rediscovered this book Sri krsna-karnamrta, on His journey to South India. He had it copied and then brought it back with him to Puri.
